The trust is funded and supported by donations, returns from investments, volunteers and donated time, payments from forestry incentive programs, and receipts from the sale of forest products resulting from our forest management program. To date this has been a successful endeavor, however, rising land costs make it increasingly more difficult for us to reach our final goals and financial assistance is essential. To contribute to or learn more about the Trust, write to: Contributions made to the Trust are deductible by donors as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers or gifts to or for the Trust’s use are deductible for federal estate and gift tax purposes. Operating expenses average under $1,000.00 per year with the remainder of the funds used to facilitate land acquisition processes.
